I founded Severnaya Samoyeds in 1986, when I got my first show dog, Ch. Marchwood's
Nicki of the North. In Russian, Severnaya means "Northland". To date, we have finished five
dogs to their AKC conformation championships, Ch. Marchwood's Nicki of the North, Ch.
Orion's Luck of the Irish (Lucky), Ch. White Magic's Severnaya Girl (Sabrina), Ch. White
Magic's Severnaya Kid (Kit), and Ch. White Magic's Northern Exposure (Maggie). My show
dogs are also my pets and companions. I have owned Sammies since 1965. I am a member
of the Old Dominion Kennel Club of Northern Virginia, the Samoyed Club of America, the
Potomac Valley Samoyed Club, and the Mid-Atlantic Stewards Association.
